Classroom is designed to help teachers create and collect assignments paperlessly, including time-saving features like the ability to automatically make a copy of a Google Document for each student. It also creates Drive folders for each assignment and for each student to help keep everyone organized.

Students can keep track of what's due on the Assignments page and begin working with just a click. Teachers can quickly see who has or hasn't completed the work, and provide direct, real-time feedback and grades right in Classroom.  Get started by creating your first class with instructions below.

Sign in for the first time
  1. Log in to your BSSWA email account.
  2. Go to classroom.google.com and click Go to Classroom.
  3. Enter your username and click Next.
  4. Enter your password and click Next.
  5. If there is a welcome message, read it and click Accept.
  6. If you're using a G Suite for Education account, click I’m A Student or I’m A Teacher.
    Note: Users with personal Google Accounts won’t see this option.
  7. Click Get Started.
