Summer School
Good morning BSSWA Families:
If your child received a summer school letter, summer school begins tomorrow, June 5th at 8am. Summer School will be held at 456 White Plains Rd, Bronx, NY 10473. There will be BSSWA staff there to greet students. Please adhere to the following rules:
If your child received a summer school letter, summer school begins tomorrow, June 5th at 8am. Summer School will be held at 456 White Plains Rd, Bronx, NY 10473. There will be BSSWA staff there to greet students. Please adhere to the following rules:
- No weapons are allowed. This includes guns, knives, pepper spray, or any other items that could inflict bodily injury.
- Students must be appropriate dress attire. This means that all mid areas for male and female students should be fully covered. There should be no appearance of undergarments, which means there should be no sagging pants or see through garments. Clothing should be free of violent or sexual messaging, including that of gang or drug related advertisement. Sandals, such as "slides" and or "flip flops" are prohibited for safety reasons.
If students arrive 30 minutes after the start of the class, they will not be allowed to enter. This means, if class begins at 8:00 am and they arrive at 8:31am, they will not be allowed to enter the building and would need to return by the start of their second class which begins at 10:00 am.
Students will receive their programs when they arrive tomorrow. Due to the student makeup work, there may be changes that need to be made to the programs.
